I will forever maintain that bringing Gilbert back is the single largest flaw in the Violet Evergarden story. The series was absolutely perfect and the movie damaged or at least tarnished the concluding act of the series. Violet getting to meet Gilbert is the equivalent of Ann's mother receiving a miracle treatment at the last minute. Violet Evergarden is a masterpiece, but if you only like shonen you probably won’t like it. It’s deeply moving and the movies are a must watch also. 10/10 would be a plausible rating for it. I think you'd find it boring if you compare it with MHA. Qualitywise, I think Violet is far better, but its a drama.
Violet Evergarden, the child soldier turned Auto Memory Doll, writes letters that evoke the words her clients can't. But when a terminally ill boy requests her services for his family, her own
As such, Violet Evergarden is an anime that hit me right in the feels, and this from episode one. I am not the type of person to cry easily at anything really, as I still think that I do not feel emotions as much as I should. But this time around oh boy did it break me from top to bottom. What’s more, it’s a natural-born leader. Violet has a way of influencing people without being overbearing. These attributes are why people respect and appreciate violet. In essence, violet is the role model of all role models. Reaches for the Stars. If violet has a goal, it’ll go to great lengths to achieve it.

It’s a coming-of-age, post-war guilt and grief, what-it-means-to-be-human story. Watch the first episode. It will give you a good idea of what you’re in for. I promise, you’ll have a tough time finding a more wholesome, beautiful experience than watching Violet Evergarden. 2.
Yes, real true romance. He declares it pretty detailed more than one time. Important fact: He went MIA for two main reasons; to, summarized, let Violet live a genuine life. And, to ascend in the military and stop them from keep using Violet as a weapon (Gilbert is now a Colonel in the novels).
To be honest, I was wondering why even though a part of people in the world of Violet Evergarden can read letters, they request the dolls to write their letters. Today I just thought the doll is not just a good writer with a typewriter but also a good listener to bring their client's true feeling to send some another person.

Maybe, but it undercuts these attempts with trying to resolve everything around Violet's poor character arc. It doesn't help that the dialogue is also pretty poor, and many of the episodic scenarios are over-punctuated with little grace.
If you are an anime fan, watch Violet Evergarden. If you are a fan of storytelling, watch the series, but whatever you do, don't watch, read or listen to any other related material (including the movie, manga and light novels). A unique masterpiece dissolves into cliche trash. 1.
That this is not remotely the case with Violet Evergarden. Here Violet’s OPness serves the story great. It makes Violet separate from the rest of the humans in the way she is treated and used. It created a barrier where she cannot connect with other people and the entire anime is about Violet trying to overcome that barrier. Why she so strong? I'm pretty sure that wasn't really explained in the anime, but Violet seemed almost like a super human that can literally take down an army just by herself even when she was 10 years old. My theory is that she was a product of some kind of genetic experiment by an evil doctor who wanted to create a super soldier, but it was One of the few series that every installment made me cry. Some people would have preferred if Gilbert was actually dead, or if Violet ended up with someone else. Personally, I was skeptical when I found out Gilbert was still alive, but I really liked how they presented it in the movie, and how it ended. Violet Evergarden - Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll -. This is an incredibly beautiful anime. I love how pure and innocent it is. I know that a lot of people criticize the relationship between Violet and Gilbert, because he is a grown man, and for a large part of the *series* Violet is rather young, but, honestly, I don't see anything really wrong with it. The movie doesn't really go into what kind
Yes, Violet Evergarden easily belongs among the bigger names in terms of quality (although I haven't seen that much anime myself yet, but I did see the most prominent "big names"). All three examples, Violet Evergarden, Your Name, and Ufotables Fate are extremely detailed and gorgeous so it is impossible to rank them.
Since I'm a critic and I did review the series, I did mention that some people might not like the melodrama or that the series is constantly trying to pull on your heartstrings and people can find that emotionally manipulative, and some people don't like feeling that an anime is trying to emotionally manipulate them, in the case of Violet Yeah, Violet Evergarden has a happy ending and obviously for the best experience i recommend watching the whole thing. Yes you’ll be satisfied. Both in the light novels and in the whole anime series, Violet has a happy ending. About Your Name, although it's an open ending, it's a happy open ending. Raised as a child weapon, Violet Evergarden, the titular character, struggles to find a place for herself in the new post-war world. Exploring the depths of what it means to be human and the importance of expressing emotions, accompanied by the backdrop of war, Violet Evergarden illustrates how to find beauty even in tragic circumstances. 6DM7yd.
